Job Details
Foster Fuels, Inc. a fuel distribution company, is looking for a self-driven inside Sales Associate, for our Charlottesville Sales Center. The focus of this opportunity is selling Foster Fuels products and services and assisting customers with their product needs. The Sales Associate provides an exemplary customer experience by asking the customer questions to determine their needs and engaging the customer with their product knowledge and suggestive selling items for the customer’s immediate needs and recommending additional items and/or services that will satisfy the customers’ future needs. The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals and meet customer expectations

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Acknowledge and greet each customer that comes into the store in a warm and welcoming manner.
•Engage the customer through conversation to determine the customer’s needs.
•Assess the customer’s needs and provides assistance and information on product features.
•Provide product knowledge to customers through the features, values and benefits of each product.
•Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
•Suggestively sell additional items and services that the customer may not have anticipated they will need.
•Actively participate in all programs and procedures that drive sales.
•Ensure that all customers receive excellent service through direct salesmanship and prompt and courteous service.
•Utilize effective phone Etiquette-Answer and return calls in a timely manner.
•Ensure the store is neat, clean and organized throughout each business day.
•Receive and display product shipments in store within twenty-four hours of delivery.
•Know where products are located within the store.
•Be aware of current promotional items and the correct pricing.
•Assist in scheduling installation service at customer locations as needed.
•ContactCustomer/Contractor to schedule service.
•Follow Up before, during and after a service installation with the Customer/Contractor.
•Provide good after sales service.

•Associates Degree in Business or Marketing.
•Demonstrated phone etiquette.
•Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
•Proficient with Microsoft office suite.
•1–2 yrs of proven work experience as a Sales Associate.
•Excellent team relationship skills.
•Basic understanding of sales principles and customer services practices.
•Customer service focus.
•Working knowledge of customer/market dynamics.
•Track record of over-achieving sales quota.

•Candidates will be expected to participate in community events to promote the Foster Fuels brand.
